Geometric mean:
x > 0 is the geometric mean between two numbers a and b if (a/x)=(x/b)


Geometric theorems:
a statement about geometry that logically follows from known facts, assumptions, definitions, and other theorems; for a statement to become a theorem, it requires proof

Great Circle:
the intersection of a plane and a sphere where the plane contains the center of the sphere; for example, the equator is a great circle of the earth
