Reading Tips

• When you read a passage that contains math information, read the symbols carefully and make sure you understand them.

Example:

When you read this statement aloud, you would say "The measurement of angle ABC equals 45 degrees."

• Keep track of the meanings of new words and symbols by making your own Geometry dictionary.
• Work any examples yourself on a sheet of paper. Pay close attention to details and note what happens to the figures in each step.
