Angles

An angle is formed by two rays with the same endpoint. The endpoint joining two rays to form an angle is called the vertex of the angle.

Here is a picture of an angle. It can be named several ways. You could name it based on the vertex of the angle, angle A. It can also be named using three points as long as the vertex of the angle is listed in the middle of the three points. For example, the angle above could be called angle C A B or angle B A C. It cannot be named angle A B C.
