For this assignment you will complete two parts:

Part A

Be sure to complete both portions of this assignments.

1. Write your responses to Brainstorming.

2. Write your Cowboy song or poem.

Part B

For this assignment you will present information on your cowboy song or poem to your parent or guardian. Your presentation must include the following components:

Oral:

• Present your cowboy song or poem.
• Define the western dialect used in the song or poem.

Visual:

• To complement your presentation, you must provide a minimum of three images that represent the time period and the message in your song or poem.

Notes:

• Provide your cowboy song or poem in your own handwriting to your parent/guardian audience prior to your presentation.

Your parent/guardian will assess your presentation based on the presentation rubric also available in pdf file format.
