Vertex (pl.: Vertices):
the plane where the endpoints of two rays, segments, sides, or edges intersect

Vertex angle (of an isosceles triangle):
the angle formed by the congruent sides of the triangle

Vertex (of a polygon):
an angle formed by two adjacent sides of the polygon

Vertical angles:
non-adjacent angles formed by two lines intersect

Vertices of a polyhedron:
the "corners" of a polyhedron; a vertex (singular) occurs where three or more edges intersect

Volume:
the measure of the space occupied by a solid; it is the capacity of a solid measured in cubic units
