- Vertex (pl.: Vertices):
- the plane where the
endpoints of two rays, segments, sides, or edges intersect

- Vertex
angle (of an isosceles triangle):
- the angle formed by
the congruent sides of the triangle
- Vertex (of a polygon):
- an angle formed by two adjacent sides of the polygon
- Vertical angles:
- non-adjacent angles formed by two lines intersect
- Vertices of a polyhedron:
- the "corners" of a polyhedron; a vertex (singular)
occurs where three or more edges intersect
- Volume:
- the measure of the
space occupied by a solid; it is the capacity of a solid measured
in cubic units
