- Major Arc:
- an arc
whose measure is more than 180°
- Median of a triangle:
- a segment joining a
vertex and the midpoint of
the side opposite that vertex
- Midpoint:
- a point that divides
a line segment into two parts of equal measure
- Midpoint formula:
- the coordinates
of the midpoint of the segment whose endpoints are (x1,y1)
and (x2,y2) are (

- Midpoint of a segment:
- on a segment, the point
which is equidistant from each endpoint
- Minor arc:
- an arc
whose measure is less than 180°
